Perform a minimum of 5x to start. When completing the last form, repeat from the first standing position.
There is a lot more to this exercise as far as focus, etc., as well as some movements-forms that have been omitted (but will be present in later videos). For now, just get your feet wet first in following along.
Key Notes:
- 0:01 – Start in Seiza position; focus on abdominal (Buddhist) breathing; perform 10 control breaths.
- 1:27 – Step with left leg into a kneel position; arms go into a modified guard position (upper arm protects Shen, lower arm protects lower dantian).
- 1:34 – Qi refresh into prayer (respect) form.
- 1:42 – Begin Wai Dan Qigong Exercise
- 3:25 – Martial Guard (Muay Chaiya)
- 3:36 – Qigong Exercise – Lungs; perform 3x 4:36 – Return to Martial Guard – Hold
