When we set out to achieve our goals, rarely is there ever a perfect, uninterrupted straight line to achieve the success we seek. We will always encounter rough patches along the way.

Those rough patches, will test us, make us think about throwing in the towel, etc. 

The Spirito Combattivo Ludus program will help keep our mind and body conditioned helping us power through this battle called life. Not only allowing us along the way to not only have a clearer vision of our accomplishments ahead, but we’ll also retain a new arsenal of experience and knowledge to help not only ourselves, but others as well.

MINDFULNESS MEDITATION

OUR HYBRID STYLE PROGRAM

Mindfulness Meditation is a form of Clear Mind meditation. Attention is paid to the natural rhythm of the breath while sitting and moving, using the body as a means to develop awareness.

Enter the world of Five Animal Qigong.

Five Animal Qigong is the oldest known dynamic Medical Qigong system, created by Hua Tuo (110-207 BC). The five animals of movement are the Tiger, Deer, Monkey, Bear, and the Crane. 

This complete system of Qigong, when practiced regularly, will help you develop grace, agility, strength, balance, and a lighter heart.

Breathing is also a key component where the focus is on Normal Abdominal breathing, Advanced Normal Abdominal breathing, and Reverse Abdominal breathing.

This dynamic program is not only beneficial for athletes, but anyone who wishes to have improvement with their mind, body, and spirit connection.

OUR HYBRID STYLE PROGRAM

Like any machine, the human body requires maintenance and daily upkeep to function properly. 

Our goal here at the House is help alleviate or prevent pain; improve the vital element of breathing; improving natural human movement through a functional training approach to build and strengthen your foundation.

Through a minimalist approach, our program is set up to benefit you in strength, power, and conditioning utilizing bodyweight, some weighted equipment, and our Airdyne bikes or Muay Thai boxing on either the heavy bag or shadowboxing. 

The way our program is set, 2x to 3x max training per week will enough to get you to your goal without overtraining. 

BRINGING YOU BACK TO THE BASIC MOVEMENT OF LIFE.

MUAY THAI

Muay Thai is a martial art that originated in Thailand centuries ago. 

Think kickboxing but with different weapons and style. You have 8 weapons to use: Elbows, Legs, Hands, Knees. 

What we focus on here is Technique only: learning the art of movement associated with it as well as learning how to utilize each of the weapons.

I’ve stripped away any physical contact with other members (aside from contact to an instructor if required) to allow people to learn and embrace without being worried about being hit. (Not everyone enjoys errant head shots)

With that said, IF someone learns the basics and wants to take the next step in initiating physical contact, then a separate class or one-on-one session would be put in place for solely that.

NUTRITION AND WEIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

What is covered in the program?

Establishing your baseline (meal frequency, healthy food types, hydration levels, protein, carbohydrate, and dietary fat levels) to help maintain the body’s performance through the journey of improvement.
